No lazy, hazy days of summer at Elmcrest. The boys and girls are off for adventures at several CNY attractions. A handful of pellets tossed in the fish hatchery ponds has the growing perch splashing around for more. The children all checked out the teeny baby fish who grow quickly to size for release in area steams and lakes. Both Syracuse and Mexico NY children became mini-miners at a rock and mineral show and Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in Mexico. Learning the fish hatchery process, examining rocks and crystals, searching for gems in the sluice, all add up to great summer fun.
