Elmcrest’s Future Fund
Planned gifts keep giving forever
Your gift can create a legacy that will support children in our care for generations to come.
Planned gifts to Elmcrest, such as a bequest in your will or trust, a life insurance designation, or a stock donation, becomes part of the Future Fund. The endowment preserves the gift in perpetuity, but the investment income it generates is available to cover critically needed services for children when other funding sources falter.
Adding bequest language to your will or living trust is simple. It can done by adding just a single sentence. A bequest can be unrestricted, enabling Elmcrest to direct your funds where the future need is greatest, or restricted to a particular program or Elmcrest location.
We recommend using the following words in your will.
I give the sum of $___ (or I give ___% of my estate) to Elmcrest Children’s Center, 960 Salt Springs Road, Syracuse, NY 13224 (tax id: 15-0539090) to be used or disposed of as its Board of Directors deems appropriate in its sole discretion.

Fostering Leadership
Become a Partner
Elmcrest is eager to partner with organizations that share our commitment to helping the community’s most vulnerable children. The businesses and other institutions that step forward as Fostering Leadership partners keep Elmcrest strong for the 2,500 children and family members we serve each year. Our partners enable Elmcrest to help children build a path to a brighter future. And when their future brightens, it’s a brighter day for our whole community.
With a $10,000 commitment, Fostering Leadership partners receive prominent recognition at Elmcrest events, on our website, and in our annual report, newsletters, and other printed material. Fostering Leadership partners may also participate in our youth employment readiness program, enabling youth in care at Elmcrest to learn, grow and thrive while gaining valuable real-world work experience.
To learn more about becoming a Fostering Leadership partner, please contact Helen Kelley at hkelley@elmcrest.org or 315-446-6250 ext. 258.
