About the H.E.A.T. Theater Program
Elmcrest is proud to present the H.E.A.T. (Highly Empowered Amazing Talent) Theater Program—an exciting new initiative that empowers youth through the performing arts. This program offers young people a creative outlet to express themselves, develop leadership skills, and shine on stage.
In celebration of Elmcrest’s 180th anniversary, participants will premiere an original play on May 10, 2025. The H.E.A.T. program is more than just theater—it’s about building confidence, showcasing talent, and elevating the voices of our youth.
Guests will enjoy an authentic 4-course Italian dinner, followed by an inspiring performance created and led entirely by Elmcrest youth. This project is made possible with funds from the Tier Three Project Support program, a regrant program of the County of Onondaga with the support of the County Executive and administered by CNY Arts.
