This “Blooming Bulletin Board” was created by the Elmcrest children in Binghamton programs. Each child’s flower “grew” out of a coffee filter into a colorful bloom with a message on the leaf.
These youth are in the Children & Family Treatment Support Programs (CFTSS) and Home and Community Based Services ( HCBS) in the southern tier. Their challenge was to write a message of something they learned while in these programs. The result was this unique garden of flowers symbolizing growth and hope.
