Officer Jackson speaking with
Elmcrest Northside Early Ed children.

The children in pre-Kindergarten class at Northside Elmcrest’s Early Education Center happily welcomed Syracuse Police Officer Jackson for a visit.  Officer Jackson is part of the Syracuse Police Community Relations department. Her role is to build supportive and trustworthy relationships between the SPD and the people they serve.

This was an easy audience at Northside, the boys and girls were delighted to welcome someone in such an impressive uniform. She told the children about her job as a community helper and how they serve the people in their city. They were all smiles when she  gave them sticker badges, and sunglasses that change color in the sun. But nothing matched these happy children’s faces when they toured Officer Jackson’s official police car!

Northside has space available for toddler care and Universal Pre-Kindergarten. Contact Tiffany Bennett @ (315) 477-0780 or
