Elmcrest is thrilled to introduce the H.E.A.T. (Highly Empowered Amazing Talent) Theater Program, a groundbreaking initiative that gives young people the opportunity to shine both on and off the stage. This transformative program is made possible through funding from the Tier Three Project Support program, a regrant initiative of the County of Onondaga, with support from the County Executive and administration by CNY Arts.
In celebration of Elmcrest’s 180th anniversary, H.E.A.T. participants will debut an original play on May 10, 2025—an inspiring production that highlights their creativity, resilience, and unique perspectives. But H.E.A.T. is more than just theater—it’s about empowerment, self-expression, and building confidence through the performing arts.
