The boys and girls in Elmcrest’s Mexico program are putting their skills to the test. Some are learning carpentry skills by working with wood. Others keep busy — keeping puppies busy — who are awaiting new homes. Going for a strike in the bowling lane takes practice. And when the outdoors calls, patience settles on the end of a fishing line.
These children are in Elmcrest’s Child and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS). Such activities teach many skills the children can develop while having fun.
