Julia M. Kondratowicz Scholarship Fund
"An investment in education always pays the highest returns." —Benjamin Franklin
Julia M. Kondratowicz came to Elmcrest in 1996 as a social worker at our group home located in Skeele Valley. In her 17-years with Elmcrest, she exhibited uncommon skill, an extraordinary capacity for work and a devotion to children that inspired all who knew her. In January 2013, Julia left Elmcrest to more fully attend to her second battle with the cancer that eventually claimed her life. She made Elmcrest and the world a better place.
The Julia M. Kondratowicz Scholarship Fund is awarded to high school graduates who have participated in one of Elmcrest’s programs and who wish to further their education at a two-year, four-year, or vocational institution of higher learning. Scholarship winners are eligible for an award of up to $5,000 annually for up to four years.
Your contribution to the Julia M. Kondratowicz Scholarship Fund empowers teens in our care to reach their full potential.
