Hundreds of people donated gifts to make Christmas merry for children served by Elmcrest. Read the story here: Elves deliver holiday joy to Elmcrest.

Each year, Motorcycle Santa drives his motorcycle up the thruway from Rochester leading a truckload of presents for the children at Elmcrest. Mike Dube, aka Motorcycle Santa, kept up this wonderful tradition this year, despite some serious challenges.

Last year was the first year Mike was sidelined. His “sleigh’ was in a serious accident, from which he still is recovering. This also placed limitations on his annual toy drive. But Mike was back this year, albeit in a rickety school bus but still loaded with gifts.

Mike grew up in a foster care setting, similar to Elmcrest when he was a boy. Recently he greeted the little ones at the Early Education Center. He continues to bring joy to all the children here. And his wonderful stash of presents will find their way under the trees in the residential cottages. Each child will receive five gifts apiece on Christmas morn, thanks to our faithful friend, Mike Dube who rides under the moniker, Motorcycle Santa.
