Elmcrest Children’s Center is dedicated to building on the promise of children and families through early intervention. That's why Elmcrest is partnering with Christopher Community, Inc. to address the issues of poverty and housing vulnerability among young parents in Syracuse.
The two nonprofits have worked together topropose a development for parents aged 18-25 who have children of pre-school age. Under the proposal, they will:
Build 50 safe and affordable two- and three-bedroom apartments on Elmcrest property
Provide supportive services for the parents living in the community
Provide education opportunities for their children through Elmcrest's award-winning early education programs.
