Elmcrest's Family Transitions Program provides specialized sexual abuse services (SSAS) to local youth and their families who are faced with challenges related to sexual abuse. Using a family systems approach, the program serves 60 families from Onondaga County at our James Street office. The program works with children and adolescents who have displayed problematic sexual behavior (PSB), children who have been sexually victimized, and their families. All referrals to the Family Transitions Program are made by calling the Preventive Services Unit at the Onondaga County Department of Social Services at 315-435-2884.
