Our corporate partnerships are vital to the success of our programs. Corporate partners have the option of participating in one of three annual events and/or our Fostering Leadership program. Each program, which varies in commitment level, contributes to creating a brighter future for the approximately 2,500 children and families we serve each year. Fostering Leadership

The Fostering Leadership Program partners Elmcrest Children’s Center with prominent companies in support of our mission: building on the promise of children and families. With a $15,000 commitment, Fostering Leadership provides our youth in care with opportunities to learn various skills that will enable them to go out in to the community as an employable individual, provides resources for the on-campus Literacy Center and provides real-world interaction with local businesses. In addition, our Fostering Leadership partners receive prominent recognition and inclusion at each of the three annual events.

Meatball Madness

The Meatball Madness contest has been a favorite of Elmcrest supporters. Chefs from 12 to 14 of the finest Italian restaurants in Central New York gather to have their meatball recipes held up to the scrutiny of the public and a panel of judges. A community favorite, this year’s event was held at the International Pavilion at the New York State Fairgrounds, where a record number of people showed up to taste, rate and ultimately crown the “Best Meatball in Central New York.”

Child @ Heart Awards

The Child @ Heart Awards dinner honors those individuals who are dedicated to supporting the Elmcrest mission of service to children and families of Central New York. Each year, Elmcrest chooses individuals and companies in the community that have made a significant contribution to children. This years event will be held at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. Book your hotel reservations (group rate) for the Elmcrest Child @ Heart Awards.

The Kimber’s Golf Invitational

The Kimber’s Invitational Golf Tournament takes place at Rogues’ Roost in June. Hundreds of golfers scatter throughout the two 18-hole courses to vie for the Kimber’s Cup. With close to $1 million raised since the tournament’s inception, the Kimber’s Invitational is a great contributor to Elmcrest and its programs.
